Match Report

Arsenal mounted a dramatic, late comeback to take an unlikely point against rivals Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.

The home side moved into a two-goal lead courtesy of Cole Palmer's early penalty and Mykhailo Mudryk's deft lob over the error-strewn David Raya, only for Mikel Arteta's outfit to rally back against the odds.

Declan Rice halved the deficit, capitalising on a mistake from Raya's opposite number, Robert Sanchez, and Leandro Trossard forced a share of the spoils after steaming in at the back post and tucking home tidily.

The result leaves Arsenal in second, level on points with league leaders Manchester City but behind on goal difference. Chelsea, meanwhile, are ninth, eight points adrift of the Champions League spots.
